Side note, we still can’t run the fucking ball. Our O-line was supposed to be a strength but they still can’t move anyone. Clark seems like a good dude, but either he’s not coaching them up or we don’t have the talent. Either way, that falls on him.

Agree - that Oline is not very good. Add a poor D and you have a non-playoff team.
Simmons was adequate tonight. Real problem was that pass D and the Oline.
Their Oline was much better than ours - Delaurent had all day to pass most of the time.

Hill sounded pretty mad (he should be) on postgame. Mentioned penalties/general sloppiness as a big frustration (the controllable things). Inability to convert on offense. Lack of run game. Surprisingly not a ton on the defense aside from not getting stops. Also apologized to the crowd more than once. I think he knew they let a big one get away, not just the game against SEMO, but laying an egg with the biggest crowd in a long time.
Sucks, I thought they finally figured things out in the third quarter, but really fell apart after SEMO marched down the field to answer our score that put us up. To think…I was really worried about the offense going into the game.
