Good news/bad news. Salukis get 2 starters back, DT Stallworth and MLB Notree who hasn't played since SEMO 1st half. Also get DT Parzych back. QB Stone is also available but is 2nd string for now.
Bad news is we lost Tre Strong for foreseeable future. Startling DB and leader on team in pass breakups. Not sure who his backup is.
We should be able to run on them. Statistically, they have the best pass D and the worst rushing D in MVC games.
Their starting QB is out for the year. The so. replacing him was a 1st team all-state QB in Ind. in 2A (small schools.)

Ind. St's big RB is a load. Their little RB, #9, is the fastest guy on the field. They have fortunately not given him the ball much. Not sure how this team lost to S. Dakota. They're better.

If SIU is going to take the next step and be a playoff team, a better option at QB is probably going to be a must.
That said, good to see some conference Ws from this group.
I agree on K.L, he’s been at the helm for 3 wins in a row. I’ll give him credit for that but the playmakers have pulled us through. I’m not totally convinced S.L. Is the answer either. I guess we stick with the winning combination.
