NDSU announcers are shocked and have nothing but good things to say about SIU "NDSU got severely outplayed today!"

No kidding!

I think they're way better than expected. Huge line, great RBs, tough D.

Yeah that loss sure doesn't look as bad as it did last week.  Just have to hope SIU carries over the momentum to next week and doesn't have a let down.

Great win! Defense was outstanding! Really liked the 3 headed monster at RB with Elliott, Williams Jr. and Strong! Strong may be one to watch moving forward after moving to RB from safety. Baker was poised and accurate. Hopefully Hill sticks with Baker, even if Lyles is cleared to play. Baker deserves to be given the chance. Hope Cox is ok. I know he walked off the field, but I have seen plenty of guys walk off the field only to be diagnosed with a torn acl or mcl. Losing Cox would be a big blow. Go Dawgs!!!!!

What a difference a week makes!  Great game, great effort, total domination except for one fluke play.  Who were those guys that were wearing Saluki uniforms last week?  Certainly can be a statement game as long as we continue this level of play and puts us right back in the playoff picture.  I read what NH had to say about the limited practice time before last weeks game, etc. and while that may have affected it we just did not show up.  Today we most certainly did.  Hope we move forward this way.  Kind of hard to tell how much difference NDS is this year versus the past but time will tell.  Hope they get back to winning like they have in the past and that will make this game that much bigger.

Congratulations to the coaches and players.  Great fun to watch.  Great to see some fans get to be in the seats and make some noise.  Looking forward to next week!

Tremendous win.  Dominant performance for the entire team.

The funny thing is that we weren't even supposed to play this game.  It was only scheduled because Indiana State opted out of the season.

Great job Salukis!

Nick Hill is out of his gourd if he starts Lyles over Baker!!

Where are all the poor recruiting, drop the program, fire the coach folks today?

Oh, you’re forgetting my favorite one of them all...

• Best FCS football conference in the country.

•Top one-third college basketball conference in the country

....but let’s drop to the OV fucking C! 😆 😝 😂

Super happy for coach Hill the man bleeds Saluki Maroon he really has been stressed trying to build our program.  Being in the toughest FCS conference in the country hasn't made his job easy and he  certainly doesn't take moral victories or shift the blame on others.  Really hope this is a game that puts us back in the playoffs.  GO Dawgs

Wow! It feels good to be a Saluki today. Maybe the basketball team will be inspired and find a win at Loyola. At any rate, I am glad for Nick Hill, Nick Baker and the rest of the FootballDawgs. This was sweet and let's hope we can finally get back to the playoffs. Next week will be interesting.
