Compliments of course to the team and  coaches, excellent planning and performance. Also a big Kudus to the ticket and stadium operations people. To scatter the seats and maintain social separation, they placed portable chair back seats to compensate for a fans loss of his typical reserved chair. You know in sports it’s funny how when you work hard , you seem to get lucky. Good job DAWGS.

By the way, did anybody see this garbage quote by the NDSU coach: ‘the only team that beats us is the one in our locker room’

Kind of a cruddy quote.

Thanks for blowing them out from a Sycamore fan. I'm so sick of NDSU.

Their coach is also about as low class as you can get. They go for 2 point conversions against teams they consider inferior all the time under this guy. Doesn't look like they tried that yesterday. I wonder why lol?

@jabman62

Everybody on this board loves SIU and SIU athletics. Some of us don’t deal with mediocrity very well. We expect our teams to excel, BUT will also support our players whenever we can even when times are rough. I don’t think there’s a ‘right way’ to support the team. I’m not gonna make excuses for losses, but I’m also not gonna rip individual college kids. I’m here to support the athletes and the team.

But I can’t NOT be frustrated when things go sour. I just got too much maroon in me lol

Last NCAA Tournament: 2007

Last FCS Playoffs: 2009

A whole decade without any kind of success for either money-making program.  We all want to see these programs turn around and have some success this decade.

With UNI coming for the next home game March 13th, I think the attendance should be increased to (at least) 5,000 if not 7,500...1/2 the stadium. I noticed all our away opponents are selling game non-reserved tickets.

This is the 3rd major streak broken this year by SIU.

1) Butler's 59 home game non-conference wins

2) Evansville's 20? straight MVC losses

3) NDSU's 39 game winning streaks.

Point is, no matter if your streak is good or not, come to SIU to stop a trend.

BTW, I thought Connor Onion, unlike that Redturd bball game, did a very nice job announcing this game.

Like Gene Greene too.

If anyone was interested in the full game, it's up on YouTube:

I might need to make a thread like the basketball one with games I can find on YouTube.
