Dan Clark has been hired as new OL coach--don't know what happened to coach Olsen
Was Clark let go by ISU or did SIU lure him away?
I have no clue. I was just asked to post this. That’s all I got
I was told that he and the Spack-meister have had a somewhat strained relationship over the last couple years. That's all he would say. Told me to take what I wanted to from it.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
Question is can he improve our offensive line production other than improving the linemen I don't care how he got hear

Clark hasn't been at ISU since 2017. He was at SFA for a year then went to Dubuque as OC (D-III) for a couple years, then went to Grand View as a RBs coach (NAIA school), before coming to SIU. Seems like he's bounced around a lot lately.
That said, it likely didn't take much to convince him to take this job.
Not thrilled about the fact that he's bounced around as a positional coach. Hopefully he know's his stuff and can get the most out of our O-Line. Just win baby!
My one remaining source told me while he was there, at ISUred, was liked and well respected.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
New OL coach Dan Clark and ST/DE coach Dalmin Gibson formally announced. Sound like pretty good hires.
