I'm not familiar with him. Comes from a football family though. Does anybody know what kind of scheme he ran at South Dakota?
This is from South Dakota:
"He has experience utilizing multiple fronts and schemes (3-4, 4-3, 3-3-5) while coaching both defensive backs and linebackers. His belief is that success is achieved from having the right players with the basic fundamentals in line, rather than the scheme."
No Harley jokes yet? 🤣
Seriously, seems like a better defensive cooordinator than what we had.
Wonder how much influence Kill had in this hire. Based on the article it seems like he might be Kill's kinda guy. As long as he's able to come in and get this defense on track all is well. Once again, SIU moved very quickly with this hire. Seems to be a pattern with Kill, which I kinda like, as long as these new coaches (thinking about the volleyball hire as well) get their respective programs on track.
I know nothing about him. I hope he gets things turned around on D.
Can't be any worse
