NDSU and SDSU are in.
UNI beats Redturds. Assuming UNI beats WIU and IndSt at home, they're in. They'll finish 8 - 4 and 6 -2 (or 9 - 3 and 7 - 1 if they win at SDSU.)
We need the Redturds to lose at SDSU and at YSU. (I'm assuming they'll beat Mo. State at home.) If they beat Mo. St. and lose at SDSU and YSU, they'll finish 7 -5 and 4 - 4. If they win one of those, they'll finish 8 - 4 and 5 - 3 and they'd be a lock. Even at 7 - 5 with a win over us would give them a leg up.
Assuming we win the next two and lose to NDSU, we finish 7 - 5 and 5 - 3 with a win over one of the very worst FBS teams (but with a loss to the Redturds.)
If the committee takes 5 teams from the MVFC, we're probably in, although other teams in other conferences will have a say about that.
If they only take four, which is more likely, I think our playoff chances are in trouble. In that case, it's likely between us and the Redturds, who lost their FBS game to a down NIU team (who got bombed by Cent. Mich. today, 3 - 6 although they played a tough non-con.) but beat us convincingly.
It would also help if SEMO and UT-Martin tied for the OVC title. Would also help if we kick some butt next two games and play NDSU tough - we'll have to play better than we did today.
Would have been better for UNI to lose and finish with the same record as us, since we don't have a head to head matchup for comparison.

Sounds like the home loss to ISU was a killer.
We sure took the air out of South Dakota when we beat them. They just lost to hapless WIU 38-34.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!

This hurts us badly imho. Makes our win against them, seem less impressive. Jut keep winning and see what happens.
I just want this team to focus on the next game. As soon as the coaching staff or the team start thinking about playoff chances.....they're gonna be in trouble.
From a fan standpoint, it would be wonderful if The Dawgs made the playoffs. Honestly, I'll be happy with a winning record.
I'm already way happier with this team than I was after that awful game against the Redturds - they're not that good - that might have been our worst game of the year.
Also happier than I have been with any other Nick Hill team. Making the playoffs would be awesome. I'm sure the team and the coaches aren't talking about that at this point, just looking to the next game, but I'm talking about it, because I think we have a shot!
Good news for us is that UT-Martin beat Jacksonville St. today so they are still in first in the OVC at 5 - 1. They also lost to SEMO a week ago (4 - 1). Next week they play at Austin Peay (4 -1) - hopefully they win that one. UT-Martin and SEMO could end up as co-champs of the OVC.
Would also be nice if teams like N. Dakota would lose a couple.
College Sports Madness has SIU as one of the last four in on the bracketology predictions today.
Did you catch that their power rankings had the Dawgs at #17 through week 9? https://www.collegesportsmadness.com/article/17961

Glad we're getting some attention. Now we have to take care of business.
That's great, but you have to question their method when Youngstown is #14 and UT-Martin is #16 - we hammered both of them. No way YSU is the 14th best FCS team. NDSU just pulverized them 56 - 17!

Wow, the coaches must really hate us lol. Pretty much any independent site you look at that does their own rankings either opinion or statistics based has us ranked in the top 25 but we can't get 10 votes out of the coaches poll. Especially when UT-Martin has 60 and we smoked them
College sports Madness has us ranked 24 this week right behind SEMO

I think they're uninformed - don't know who beat who. The Stats FCS poll also has us behind UT Martin - http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20191104124809719902004 .
Massey dropped us 3 spots to #18, still ahead of UT Martin, SEMO, and Youngstown though.

Compughterratings has us 24th. One behind Tennessee-Martin and one in front of ISUred.
