Based on his statement, I'd guess grades. The good news is, I have full confidence in Nick Hill getting QB's to come to Carbondale.
This may be a big opportunity for Centralia's Javon Williams to get some quick work--6-2 240 QB who is physically ready to go

I agree. If Straub were to get hurt again, this season could be a wash.
Sadly he had grade issues. I wish the young man the best and maybe he will be back. We are again a little thin in the QB realm.
I'd use that scholie for a transfer--but it would probably have to be an FBS one since JUCO QB's that are good enough to be a back-up probably are slim pickings

Maybe he'll work out but is so small: probably 5'9" 170 that he sometimes has a hard time seeing over our tall OL--that's just my opinion. But he's a competitor.
