I just watched the first half of the last SDSU game. Tomorrow will be the SAME OLD story we've been watching for years. Our offense will score points and our defense will stink on ice and lose the game. I'm not even going to get into particulars. We're simply going up against better players. One thing of note. We better move more starters to special teams. In the first half alone, SDSU blocked two field goals and a punt. I don't know that I've ever seen that before.

Looks like we will be without Parzych for the foreseeable future (likely done).
Actually excited for this one. This will be a big test to see if they are ready to take the next step. Don’t need to win necessarily but if they can compete here I think they can use it as a spring board for the rest of the season. Four very winnable games and if they can steal one for the Redbirds, I think they sneak in to the playoffs. It would be nice to have some games to go to in late October that matter! Let’s go Dawgs!

Missing multiple games last year and now on the shelf this year. One would think durability, which equals reliability, is possibly going to be questioned by NFL front offices. And in the NFL, reliability of playing each week is always quoted as being hugely important.

This is an opportunity to SIU to make a statement. If they can take advantage of it.....it means the program has taken a huge step forward. If SIU gets throttled by what is supposed to be a superior opponent....it's more of the same.
I believe the Dawgs pull off a big upset here. One of Tony Young's former BB players at ESL High School somehow got into the Jackoffrabbits locker room and made this secret recording of Stiegelmeister in his odd little voice! He obviously agrees with me!
