I've been thinking of donating a small amount to SIU's NIL efforts. Has anyone done so yet? If so, did you use the website and the venmo link that they provide?
Not sure how to donate. Saluki Football Alliance has been sending players NIL money via Venmo. All Conference selections picked up $1500 each. During regular season a couple players would receive up $250 for having really good games. It’s not much compared to FBS but it’s a good start for SIU.

That’s pretty cool. I haven’t heard of players getting compensated for good games. I like it. Anything to make us more attractive than other FCS programs is a good thing.
On the NIL website there’s a Venmo link that they appear to want donations sent to. I’d just like to make sure it’s active. There’s an email address included. I’ll shoot them a message to check.
Such a positive incentive for the players. I currently donate to the SASF, and I'm also a basketball season ticket holder. I personally would like to see a MVFC Championship, and some long playoff runs before I begin donating to the NIL.
