They would not cancel a game for show, so why would you cancel a practice?  Playing in the snow is kind of fun.

It'll be cold but ok. The ground is still so warm that the dusting we got is gone already this morning--just bring your gloves and ear muffs!

Everybody got a chance--and I mean everybody.A snappy 90 minute job. I particularly liked Michael Elbert a 6' 180 pound Safetyfrom Carl Junction Mo. who apparently has a leg up to start with super-duper FSJeremy Chinn==Elbert is not big but just a baller who is around the action all the time. He even stole the ball from a receiver after he made he catch today.

Nate Strong is looking strong at RB with a good combo of strength and speed. He is a down hill runner, one cut usually but can break one. I don't know how fast he is now but I do know he ran a 22 second 200 meters when he was just an eighth grader!!!

They had 5-11 192 Tory Lewis and 6-1 180 Madre Harper at the corners on first unit but will probably have 5-11 190 Titus Booker and 5-11 180 Terrence Henley in there too.

ILB looks like 6-3 247 Jaylen Waters and Cody Crider also 6-2 230 Bryce Notree  and 6-4 233 Luke Giegling

Thanks!  Hey, how did the place kickers do?  One area that needs improvement over last year.

Yeh, no official stats but remember Johnson City's big FG kicker Nico Gualdoni (6-0 219) hit one from plus forty yards out (was from 35 but re-kicked after a defensive five yard penalty)

Some of the younger players.  They seemed to have a good time.

It's neat to see guys bonding into a friendship that probably will last all their lives--also those particular guys will be seeing mucho Playing Time in the next 3-4 years

Well, the players are done for the Spring.  Most are travelling home today for a break before they come back in mid June.

I bet your son is really looking forward to summer workouts running up and down that giant hill next to the Arena!  Seriously, the guys really have tough conditioning ahead in the humid Carbondale weather. They'll be ready for Fall camp by August.
