Bizzare ending to another collapse for SEMO. Someone on their sideline bailed out EKU. Time would’ve ran out. The timeout gave EKU time to setup a game winning FG.

Northern Illinois looks like a really bad D1 team much like Northwestern last year and SEMO losing to Eastern Kentucky is a bit deflating. At least Austin Peay beat Stephen F Austin

Saw that! EKU shouldn't have had that chance at a FG, but the SEMO QB had an awful fumble to give it to EKU in FG range.
Unbelievably stupid move by an assistant to call timeout with 1 second left. EKU failed to spike the ball to stop the clock and wasn't going to get the FG off in time - game would have gone to OT. Tuke argued with the ref that he didn't call timeout but too late. SEMO also played awful prevent defense on that last drive TD drive by EKU that tied it up and should have dialed up a lot more blitzes.
That was the most bizarre ending to a game I can remember.

and N. AZ whipped Montana 28 - 14 today. Utah Tech was Dixie State, a D2 school a couple of years ago.

Eastern was down 28 - 7 to McNeese. Came back to win it on a 56 yard FG. Wow

My bad! That little detail changes the story quite a bit, haha.
I don’t feel quite as concerned now, although I do always expect the worst coming out of a bye.
