"Comfortable"? We can't be comfortable unless we win or lose a close one.
Our "marquee" wins are against another bubble team (UT-Martin) and the second-worst team in FBS. I just don't think that's enough for a bid, sadly.
On the other hand, we don't have any truly bad losses.
I don't really have an answer to your question, but a lot is going to have to happen, mainly bad losses by other bubble teams other than UT-Martin.

The only two teams that have lost that I think would help us by losing are SE Louisiana and Towson.
