We should schedule a bunch of these games. Does losing to an upper tier team hurt our playoff chances (assuming we're good in 7 years)?
It can be difficult to get to 7 wins in our conference, and the FBS game is typically an automatic loss. So yes, playing 2 of them could hurt our playoff chances. If we are good enough where we aren’t worried about getting 7 wins then it would be great to schedule 2 FBS games.
