He attended workouts on Thursday and Friday after missing since being in portal.

Seemed odd IMO. All 3 in the portal haven’t participated in team activities. Hartrup returned last Thursday and hasn’t missed since. Hope he stays. Wish all 3 would stay. Good players.
That’s got to be kind of embarrassing and pride-swallowing for the kid.

1 for 2 ain’t bad. Hope Bush is next to follow suit. Lots of kids get left in the portal. I’d bet far more than the number who get signed. Hartrup is at the perfect level. Can be a stud and have opportunities after college.
Really good news on Hartrup. He's one of the most athletic and speedy WR's we've seen at SIU and I think he can develop into a potential MVC first teamer. Didn't show a lot last year with Cox and Lenoir ahead of him but he was impressive when he got the ball.
Happy to hear Hartrup is staying at SIU. Hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence for him after each season. Be a Saluki kid!
