Can SIU really still make the playoffs after a loss at home to a bad team that hadn’t won a road game in 4 years?

if so, how?   Would everyone else on the bubble have to lose today.

They have 7 wins in the MVFC so there’s an argument a 7 win MVFC team should be in.  But SIU also avoided North Dakota State and South Dakota and lost to Northern Iowa and Youngstown

The SEMO win wasn’t a conference win.

Oh yeah but 7 wins overall still looks good for an MVFC team

Lost 3 of the last 4, including getting blown out at home by a 2 win team. If we get in, there will be some justifiably ticked off bubble teams sitting at home.

Maybe we get a pay back and get an invite by being one of those bubble teams a couple years ago.

Is it worth the financial burden of traveling for a 1 and done playoff road game?

It is for recruiting purposes.
