So do we think Suggs starts? He averaged 8.5 as a freshman at Bradley, but he didn't get much playing time at Mizzou.

I don't think Suggs is a starter, but there are a couple of spots in the starting lineup up for grabs. It'll be fun to see who outworks who to fill out that first five.

Aaron Cook and Ronnie Suggs both played for the St. Louis Eagles AAU program.

Suggs had a prep year before committing to Bradley and then a red Shirt year at Missouri.

Lol.      He starts. Don’t overthink this.

I must assume so as well based on this team's severe lack of size and experience.

If Malik William is granted immediate eligibility, it’s probably more of a question. Otherwise, maybe Domask pushes for more playing time over the course of the year, but Suggs probably would be more ready to contribute (especially defensively) out of the gate. Definitely good to have another option at the 3 and 4 spots.

Don’t overlook Sekou.

Has anyone seen him play or have any inside scoop on Sekou?

Saw him play for a few minutes in exhibition game last year. He looked better than Fall. He was pretty aggressive going to the basket and moved pretty well. That's about all I remember.

One good thing about Sekou is he already has a man's body. Dude will be ready to do damage. He's built like a freight train.

Obviously he's ready to contribute instantly with his experience and skill-set he brings to the table. I just don't see him as a starter, especially as the season progresses. I think we have guys behind him that, though young, will be able to put the ball in the hoop pushing for those rotation spots.

Pending redshirts, another addition, and resolution of eligibility questions, I see the depth chart looking something like this:

1-2:  Cook, McGill, Jones, Brown

3-4:  Suggs, Domask, Francois, Gooch, (Taggert), (Keller)

4-5:  Benson, William, Dembele

I know I have the 4 position twice, but it sounds like we will be playing four guards a lot, so this allows for a four guard line-up or a two post line-up.

I realize I kinda have the shiny new object syndrome here, but most of these new guys sound pretty good.

The report was that Francois played the point a lot at his JUCO, but with the four guys we have at the 1-2, that doesn't seem likely to be necessary.

So, my guess for the starters at this way too early juncture is:  Cook, McGill, Suggs, Domask, and Benson.

Sounds about right. With the majority of the roster being newcomers and a new coaching staff, not to mention William's unclear eligibility status, there are more questions than answers, but one thing I'm pretty sure of is this team will be better on defense than offense. Cook and McGill should be able to pressure the ball well and there are some rugged bodies to protect the rim (William would add to that). Hoping Suggs, Francois and maybe Jones can also be plus defenders.

Francois is a shooter. His weakness would be defense. He is instant offense. He is pretty long and athletic though so Bryan can teach him .

Roster is full up now with Nebraska transfer Karrington Davis becoming  the eighth (!) Mullins recruit this spring/summer, including five D-1 transfers.

Should have four open scholarships for the 2020 class unless anyone leaves before then.
