Cincinnati appears to be targeting Frank Martin.

The Frank Martin rumor to Cincinnati was reported by Jeff Goodman - BUT he has a $12.6 million  buyout!!

Frank makes almost 3 mill at USC, and Cincinnati was paying Mick Cronin roughly 2.2 mill, so Cincinnati would have to really cough up some money to get Martin.  Martin has the Huggins connection and was at Cincy for a couple of years with both Huggins and Andy Kennedy - but I don't think they will pay the buyout.

Cincy should just hire John Brannen, such an easy fit

I agree with Saluki World!  This might be a good fit for Thad Matta too, if he is ready to get back in.

Don't know if this will happen (kinda doubt it), but thinking two steps ahead, I wonder if Moser leaving could prompt any of the Illinois Wolves recruits they signed for next year to reroute to Carbondale.

Interesting and glad SIU hired Mullins when they did.  I assume edicate goes out the window if Moser leaves and it should be a free for all for those recruits.

The St John’s board (Redmen.com) seems pretty confident (and not happy) that this might happen.

I don't see this happening.

St John’s reporters say he’s having dinner with the higher-ups tonight:

I think St John’s should bite the buyout bullet and higher Tim Cluess from Iona but if they’re offering the job to Moser, he’s probably going to take it.  It’s a great job in the Big East, games at Madison Square Garden, and his value might never get higher than it’s been the last two years.

Porter's buyout is substantial.

If Moser was to leave Loyola maybe Mullins could grab the Illinois Wolves recruits that are headed there this year.
