really a pretty good game,
still rooting for the valley teams playing post season, gotta show we are solid conference.

Not Bradley. I hate Bradley

WTH is going on? Sparty looks tired.
Bradley played better than they've played all year and Michigan State played much worse than they've played.
Ja Morant is the real deal. Murray State is going to be hard to beat.
I'm sure the NCAA is going to milk brackets like the NFL has milked fantasy leagues, but....
I saw some really bad officiating today, particularly the last half of the Nevada0Florida game. No call muggings, tick tack fouls called.
And some bad play too. Parts of the Louisville-Minnesota game were almost unwatchable. I saw so many bad shots today, idiots taking step back threes and shooting bricks, airballs three feet short on 15 foot turnarounds, wasn't even funny. Guys dribbling for 20 seconds on the clock then throwing up a bad shot....
And the pundits on CBS criticizing Izzo for yelling at a kid? Are we that freaking soft? Good lord, we pay these coaches Brinks trucks full of money and we want them to be baby sitters, not coaches?

In the only bracket I did this year, I have Murray going to the Elite Eight.
So far that is pretty much the only "upset" I have gotten right. ("Upset" in quotes because I really don't think it was except for the seedings.)
(Inflammatory political snark)

The coach on the panel didn't have a problem with it - thought that was funny. The two players on the panel didn't like the finger pointing and the "having to hold the madman back" behaviors. Don't think they would give a sheeite about the yelling. Candace Parker said it should have been private. The guy, name?, thought it was a bad look. I agree. Izzo looked psycho - way too Bob Knightish for my taste. I don't have a problem with yelling but Tommy went a little overboard.
Candace Parker btw still plays in the women's NBA (2-time MVP) - won multiple Nat'l Champs. at Tennessee, and played HS at Naperville, IL Central. Her brother played at Bradley and in the NBA.
Congrats to Bradley - they played great! Childs and Browns were beasts. Unfortunately, their whole team will be back next year. I'll be surprised if they aren't the favorites to win the MVC.

They should be. My only question mark for them will be consistency scoring the basketball.

...and the nut coach.
Craving a McBride Special!
i'm not buying the Kumbaya crap with Dave Reynolds and Bradley.
i've worked as a reporter for a few years now and have never known of a relationship to get so bad that you had to write it out so people would take notice like that. And i think the rift was genuine, because a lot of coaches don't want to talk to you when they lose, much less when things are not going their way and you point it out.
Down goes Kansas State.
Their went my bracket.
