Creighton on the verge of their first ever Sweet 16. Luckily, they get Gonzaga next
So Coach Jake is dedicated to the Panthers huh ?
“No. Iowa hoops coach Ben Jacobson interviewed for the #Gophers job over the weekend, sources tell KSTP Sports. We hear at least 1 other in-person interview has already occurred, w/ at least 1 more on the horizon today. Utah St coach Craig Smith is expected to interview in-person.”
Let's hope whoever takes that job negotiates enough money for them to retire on. This is the ultimate "no win" promotion.

Who said that?
I won't try to speak for Morris, but for me the point wasn't about "loyalty"; it was simply that guys like Jake or Moser aren't as motivated by money and ego as others are.
I could see Jacobsen moving to Mpls simply because it's a place he'd rather live than Frostbite Falls. Similarly, I could see Moser moving to DePaul as a challenge: becoming the next Ray Meyer, perhaps: a personal challenge, not money. Or to Milwaukee (Marquette) maybe for some similar challenge, the point being that for some people it's not about the big bucks.
That is all: not being all about the big bucks is not the same as "loyalty."
Sorry, but I really don't think "loyalty" was ever a part of Morris's (or my) argument.

If you can't comfortably retire after even a couple of years of making close to $1 million/year, there is something seriously wrong with your brain.

I really really hate Creighton
I watched most of the 2nd half and I witnessed no more than 3 jump shots made while I watched. They had FT's, layups, dunks, etc but missed nearly EVERY jump shot attempted. I realize that it can change game to game, but I forsee a Gonzaga blow out.
Welp, the Abilene Christian Clint Longleys are out. (Am I dating myself here? 😋 )

Say, did you all know that non-BCS/P5 teams are playing with "house money" and have "no pressure" on them to win?
That is a constant trope on message boards of "big schools." Yeah, no pressure to perform AT ALL, is there, when you're expected to represent an entire class of programs? No pressure to perform when you've been seeded as an 8 and are complaining (rightfully so) about it. Nope. Gosh, nope. No pressure at all.
And then these same eff-ers turn around and complain about how their team had to play an "underseeded" team.
Hilarious and maddening.

Looks like Michigan is gonna save the Big Ten from total embarrassment
1 Big Ten team left after Maryland gets killed by Alabama. 1 Big 12 team left if the USC 19 point halftime lead against Kansas holds.

loyalty to one's wallet is what should drive Moser. Jacobsen will never see another tourney so he should go whereever he can make more money.

Well maybe "total" embarrassment. But Big 10 is an epic fail here no matter how you slice it, even if Michigan goes all the way. My prediction was they would lose five teams in first round, but eight! No way to spin this positively.
However, I don't completely blame Big 10. Major sports media laps up and promotes the blue blood spin. This year's hype was Big 10, while failing to see that the south has lovingly adopted basketball. In formerly strong football regions, basketball has taken root, if not over, (really not a bulletin) e.g. Texas, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi etc. This trend is irreversible media.
Anyway, the media is lazy. Is anyone surprised?
March on triumphantly!

And let's not forget the Pac 12: 5 bids, 4 make to next weekend. Granted, the midwest media most likely unintentionally ignored what was going on out there vs here, but you can't argue about results.

No love for the Jayhawks. Still remember that bitter loss to them in the Sweet Sixteen round. Yeah...loved seeing that record setting smackdown tonight that USC put on KU.
