SIU's non-conference opponents by KenPom:
205. Queens (think this might be too low for them)
325. Chicago State (Again, probably way too low)
136. James Madison
100. Fresno State or 178. New Mexico State
115. Saint Louis
68. Oklahoma State
202. Austin Peay
141. Wichita State
216. North Dakota State
336. Southern Indiana
The Bewley twins are now ineligible for taking money at the OTE academy. The Chicago State game just got a lot easier. Looking like these top 10 nationally, 5 star recruits will probably never play a game for Chicago State. Too bad, would have been fun to watch them at Banterra Center.

Can't take money at OTE but OK in college? They must have received a Porsche 911 instead of a Ram Big Horn.
Sounds about right!

Don't sleep on James Madison. I did some research on them for my draft. They have 12 upperclassmen, bring in Boston College transfer Bickerstaff and Edwards is poised to be a star. I've got this team winning 19-22 games this year and have them in the NCAA tourny. This will be a great measuring stick for the Salukis.

Big injury for upcoming opponent SLU, which had gotten off to a good start.
Parker is 108th in the country in possessions and 18th in the country in shots so pretty big loss there

Updated KenPom numbers:
SIU -144
Queens - 256
Chicago St. - 338 (they're better than that number)
James Madison - 86 (top 25 in the polls because they won at Michigan St. and at Kent State but not here)
Fresno St. - 124 OR New Mexico St. - 205
St. Louis U. - 125
Oklahoma St. - 85 (they aren't as good as their number)
Austin Peay - 226
Wichita St. - 100
No. Dakota St. - 214
Southern Indiana - 343
KenPom is a total joke early in the season. This is illustrated by the OK St. and James Madison numbers, just to name a few. I would take almost any rating system over KenPom until mid January. Massey is probably more accurate right now. I think KenPom takes previous season in consideration early. Also, it seems extremely skewed toward power conference teams.SIU's non-conference opponents by KenPom:

To me this is much more accurate at this point in the season. Yes, it will change greatly, but it more reflects what has gone on this season to date than KenPom.
SLU down 13 already to an always solid Vermont team
