Don’t know what’s taking so long there but Brendan Mullins should eventually join Murray’s staff. I’m surprised Ferguson committed there before that was official though. I’m glad they didn’t get Ebube too.
Really shouldn't be surprised if nobody outside of Miller and Sharp return. Initially, I was hopeful to retain 4 or 5, but the writing appears to be on the wall and I'm not heartbroken by it.

@dirtydale sorry I’m just not happy about losing players to a nepo hire. We shouldn’t lose a player to anyone on our last staff. Just awful. You can disagree all you want and call me what you want but it’s true. It’s bad for our team and university

I think with Howard leaving and Mamon being retained, it put Ebube/Ferguson more in flux but also gave SIU a good chance at retaining Kennard. They’re still gonna need more pieces though obviously and I’ve heard there’s some portal targets in next week. Also I would watch the Quincy players too given the Hawkins connection.

Nagy seemed to initially be optimistic he’d be able to keep more guys. I know they lost Howard but they did then retain Mamon. Who knows what all the factors are at play.
But yeah, looking like there will be 10-sh new faces.
