What is that? Are you sure you didn't mean per-game?
It’s a metric that basically tells you the the percentage of plays in a game that end with a steal for a specific player. In the limited time he played, Cook had a steal % of 6.9. That’s probably very inflated though by the 7 he had against Oakland but still pretty impressive.
In 2006, Mullins was 2nd in the country in that stat behind Mario Chalmers of Kansas.
