What is that? Are you sure you didn't mean per-game?
It’s a metric that basically tells you the the percentage of plays in a game that end with a steal for a specific player. In the limited time he played, Cook had a steal % of 6.9. That’s probably very inflated though by the 7 he had against Oakland but still pretty impressive.
In 2006, Mullins was 2nd in the country in that stat behind Mario Chalmers of Kansas.

we will be fine either way next year, however we are a much better team with Aaron Cook than without him
