Plus, I think Chaifetz barely holds 10k which doesn’t leave much room to expand if some teams get good that bring large crowds (ISU red, SIU, Murray, MSU). It is also pretty far removed from downtown. Maybe some see that as a good thing, but I don’t.
Chefeitz holds about 10,600 folks. I gotta say. I've been there a couple times for concerts and Saluki games. It's a nice venue but the parking and hotel situation would be horrible if the Valley moved there. It's a pain to find a parking place in that part of town. Everyone would have to drive/bus/uber from the downtown hotels to get there.
There is also the Family Arena in St Charles but know nothing about it

Hard no on this one. Worse than Chaifetz.

Yeah. It seats about the same as Chafietz but hotels are not as plentiful and just aas far away. Women's tournament used to be there and moved away to the Quad Cities.
Chaiffetz is nicer than the Family Arena. Both have lack of parking and nearby hotel issues. Plus some who attend use the Metro Link which is not available at Chaiffetz and Family Arena.
the only advantage to the chafietz is you are less likely to get shot, mugged, or carjacked there.
UIC and Incarnate Word is a 2 pt game right now with about ten minutes left. That said if SIU does not beat UIC by about 50 I will be disappointed. This is my 3rd time watching them so far this year and they are far from impressive.
UIC has regressed the past few weeks - seems like their hot start might've been too good to be true. Brutal loss today against Trey Miller's former school.
Kennedy has played only sporadically this year, I'm assuming for ongoing injury issues. SIU might have dodged one there as unfortunately he can't seem to stay on the floor.
I wouldn't underestimate UIC. They were pretty good until recently. Their NET is still #100, even after today's loss. They are only 3 spots behind #97 SIU. They can be really good or really bad this year. Let's hope they aren't the really good version when they come to Carbondale next week.UIC and Incarnate Word is a 2 pt game right now with about ten minutes left. I forgot about Kennedy. Yeah, ever since I put a little on UIC to cover against Illinois State they have been nose diving, I may have jinxed them.UIC has regressed the past few weeks - seems like their hot start might've been too good to be true. Does anyone know if Connor Hickman is playing tonight for Bradley? Not sure they can cover without him. Thinking about betting against the Braves,

NET only updates once per day. It’ll be significantly lower in the morning. For example, SIU dropped like 47 spots the morning after they lost to Austin Peay at home.
Drake and UAB may go to overtime, looks like it has been a good game, I have missed most of it though. Update, yeah that was a sick shot to send it to OT by Devries
Drake falls in OT to UAB. That's a game you've got to win.
