The In St /Seton Hall NIT game last night was good fun; wish ISUblue had won, their shooting went so cold at the wrong & worst time of the game. Should have attacked the basket first on the last two possessions.
Good game - Sycs up 7 with 2 minutes to go, you'd think they would win. Think Schertz screwed up on that last possession. Rather than set up a three, get it inside to Kent or Avila and probably get to the FT line. SH came down and scored every time they had the ball that last few minutes - InSU's D wasn't sound that last two. Might be decades before they get that chance again.
ISU coach heads to SLU. 12million over 6 years. Let the transfer portal begin for ISU!
I need Nagy to get us some news up in here. I don’t even feel like making fun of Indiana St for having to get a coach this late in the game.
Rick Semmler just had an interesting string of tweets with more background on Schertz leaving. Supposedly Indiana State offered him 850K x 6 years to try to keep him, but SLU’s deal is still more than double.
It’ll be interesting to see if/to what extent Schertz poaches MVC players (beyond multiple Sycamores who will likely follow).
Some posters had Davis already signed, sealed and delivered to DePaul, but I am thinking he quite possibly could be headed to STL.
If Schertz wants Davis — and I can’t imagine he would not want him given his potential — I’d be surprised if Davis did not choose his hometown St. Louis U. Kid has a chance to be a great player.

If the cringiness of this video is any indication, I don't expect UIC to be good anytime soon.

- I don't think it's that cringey. At least he's trying. So many students at UIC don't even know they have a basketball team I'd guess. Good for him for trying to bring students in.
The idea is fine. The execution is horrid.
Picked up a copy of the DE while on campus today and was surprised to see this letter. Trent seems like quite the person to have associated with the university.
