Luke Yaklich's Flames won 2 games against MAC schools (Northern Illinois and Central Michigan) while Valpo is coming off a close loss to Vanderbilt. Should be an interesting game. I think UIC made a great hire in Yaklich to help turn their program around.

Drake looks to go 3-0 after 2 wins in Kansas. Nebraska Omaha is #204 in KenPom and has a win over a Middle Tennessee team that blew out Murray State tonight
Drake beats Omaha 87-66 in a game that was much more lopsided than the final score suggests.

The best game of the night in the Valley. South Dakota State is KenPom's #80 team in college basketball with wins over Utah State and Iowa State and losses to West Virginia and Saint Mary's. They were in the same non-conference tournament as Northern Iowa.

Loyola steamrolled Lewis in their opener. I had Loyola atop the league before the Green injury at UNI, and now, they're probably the last hope for an at-large worthy team in the Valley, but I don't know if their COVID-impacted schedule will allow for that. Super deep squad.
I've always been a lot higher on Krutwig than Greene. I think the Ramblers will be the best team in the MVC.
