Players aren't the only thing that may not be back next year. 🤔Â
Which coach?
Pat Monaghan is being mentioned for Wisconsin Green Bay asst coach nothing official YET.Â
He was a big part of getting Banks, Wonders, and Domask. Wondering (no pun intended) if we might see Foster leave too.

May not…seems like if that were the case they/Bryan would have decided by now.
Â
first of all it isn't official but it may not be Bryan's choice.Â
I am guessing he would be associate head coach at Wisconsin Green Bay? Otherwise, this would be a lateral, or even small step down move. If he leaves we need to add an offensive centric coach/recruiter. Monaghan is our main recruiting assistant, if I'm not mistaken.
Green Bay board has been talking about it (and his Domask connection):

Monaghan IS the lead Recruiter and many other things this will be a big loss to Bryan.

Â
It's not a loss if they bring in someone that can figure out how to fix the offense. Monaghan was able to bring in Domask which was obviously a huge get but Banks and Wonders haven't panned out yet. Mamon is the lead recruiter on Kennard Davis Jr and Brendan is the lead recruiter on Cade Hornecker so if you're going to lose an assistant, unfortunately Monaghan seems like the "best" option.
Â
Yes, that is what I was saying assistant in charge of recruiting. Sounds like you are assuming he is gone.ÂI am guessing he would be associate head coach at Wisconsin Green Bay? Did not expect this development. Â I falsely thought no coaches would be leaving. Â

They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.

If PM has a strong connection with their new coach and wants to get back to the area and can get a similar or increased salary, I would wish him well if that’s where he wants to be.Â
There is just no way in the world I could see Domask go there for his final year of eligibility for a rebuild, regardless of how close he is with PM. If he were to get an offer to somewhere like Wisconsin, I could see that. Wonders on the other hand…I could see making the jump (not that I want him to).

By next week, up in the 70s in C'dale. Up in the 40's in Green Bay. But if you like lots and lots of snow, it's ideal. I had friends move down here from Door Co because they could not handle the crazy snow in the winter. Nice in the summer of course. Definitely a step down.
UW-GB btw, has one of the uglier college campuses around IMO. Just as fugly as Valpo.
