I wonder who's going to pull the hiding illini out of the basement.  No wait....I really don't care.

Apparently hiring a Beliein is automatically a good hire because “hey I recognize that last name”.

The local Champaign media is such a joke.  They defended Groce for years as he destroyed whatever was left of their basketball program and now the same with Underwood as he recruits 3 stars to a once prestigious program.  The crying Illini are a long ways from relevancy.

Is the “Good Guy Award” tantamount to the “good sport” award the fat girl gets at the frat party?

Paging MSN...

It's time to write an obituary.   "He was a good guy..."

He is a good guy, but lacks real big league coaching skills. I would bet, like Watson, he could settle in at a D2 school and be very comfortable.

He is a B or C coach, average to good, with a shot at an A occasionally when the project is right.
