Mid season? What are they waiting for? Another 20+ loss ?   Believe it when I see it.

I have been on the Fire Hinson train since day he was hired. I really hope this is the end so this program can finally get its identity back and start winning games that matter again.

That’s Hinson’s style get close to the most important boosters. How do you think he has been a D1 coach for 17 years with no NCAA bids?   Every wonder why  broadcasters of SIU basketball trip over themselves complementing Hinson. He knows how to work people. That’s why we will be lucky to finally move on from the Hinson era.  Very very very doubtful it will happen mid season. We will be extremely lucky IF happens at all . There have been numerous times I thought Hinson would be fired (ask MSN)and he has outlasted 2 AD’s and several Chancellor’s. Hinson won’t go silently into the night . This is will be a power play for Hinson and he will try everything he can to control his fate .

On another note I hope the positive dips shits are ready because I am going on a tear for the rest of this season. Fuck this Hucky piece of Shit. Fuck Jerry the savior Kill and fuck the outhouse king.  This problem was solved in March by Tommy Bell . I don’t rip on dead people or there would be another fuck you in there. Let them play in an empty fucking arena.

Why the sudden change on Kill Barkeep 1967?

Two free tickets and parking pass to anyone that will leave a bag of Cheetos on Hinson's seat before each home game.

My first post outside the Notre Dame thread.

It's frozen here on the farm so thought I'd take a look around.   Seems like Hinson is on the hot seat.  I never understood why he was hired in the first place, but hindsight is always 20/20.

One thing I've learned from lifetime of rooting for the Irish:  I'm not really entitled to the opinion about who the coach(es) is/are going to be in South Bend.

Yes, I'm a fan, but I'm not an alum (no ag school under the Golden Dome), and my family couldn't afford it anyway.  I've been to two games there in my life, one football and one basketball.  The trip to Dallas for the playoff was surprise present from family.  Of course, I rarely miss televised games except when we're busy on the farm.

So, while I may invest a lot of time in following the Irish, I'm not donor.   I'm not an alum.

I have a few friends who did go to ND.  They are alums and donors.  They have a say.

Seems to me money is talking in Carbondale.  We all know it is, especially with the budget problems and everything else going on in Illinois.  And a lot of people seem to be saying they're not giving money because of a coach.  They're not renewing season tickets because of a coach.  They're not going to games because of a coach.

Do you only give to winners?  Seems to me giving is more important when you're losing.  That's when you need your voice to be heard.  I heard that Tommy Bell said the biggest complainers weren't donors or season ticket holders.

So, in other words, most of you complainers need to spend less time complaining and more time writing checks.

Here is a link you can use:

https://siuf.org/giving/payment.php

I bet your voice will be heard if you donate money.

The program hasn’t been run completely since the backhalf of the Lowery era, while you may not be wrong the idea this program should benefit from people’s hard earned money before they have demonstrated they have two brain cells to rub together is laughable.

That's how he landed this job in the first place. That's why he's still here. The guy is a bottom-feeding leech. He's the turd stain in the toilet that you can't piss off.

Or not. I was a long time season ticket holder and donor but cancelled my donation and didn’t renew my tickets and told them why.  That is the only way to get their attention.

In other words, you only give to get something back (otherwise known as a Native American giver) and you've lost your voice because your opinion no longer matters.

You realize not giving/attending applies pressure too right?  You think the administration would feel much pressure to change if the arena was packed and they were rolling in donations?

Fans have a choice what to do with their money.  If they don't like the direction of the program or whatever BS is going on, they have every right to show their displeasure by NOT donating.  Besides, some of us complaining ARE donors, (hot dog) head.

Wow.  You people are hateful.  Crippling all of Saluki athletics because you don't like the basketball coach is selfish.  Perhaps you should concentrate on complaining less on the internet and writing bigger checks so you can have a bigger voice.
