So we are saying I could know before I leave St. Louis!?!? I hope so!
Saluki Wilson we are pretty sure is GOSIU88. Surprise huh ?
I believe he was at the Evansville game Saturday.
I honestly don’t get why one would defend Hinson at this point, even if you hate the people on this board. We must be living in his head rent-free at this point.
Fray - people in Springfield Mo still defend the man. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So this team is going to the play in game... I see maybe 1 more win on the schedule if we get lucky...
Anyway, assuming we lost Thursday or Friday I was thinking... Does anyone remember when the Lowery news was announced? I want to say it was Sunday evening or Monday? What about the Lusk news for MSU last year? The MVC probably does not want these things announced while the tournament is still going on, right? I am going to STL, I would love to celebrate there but that likely wont happen will it?
According to Heff... Lowery was fired three hours after the game and SIU held the press conference the next day.
Lusk was fired the next day.
I anticipate the same scenario unless he announced his own retirement.
I seem to remember Lowery didn't even ride the bus home.

I believe SalukiTalk broke the news of the Lowery firing on Sunday . OBD could confirm this.

Yes, old ST broke the story.
Go Dawgs!
Remember being in Lingle Hall when I loaded SalukiTalk and saw Bobber’s scoop. Great day.

Yes, we did. Actually, it was early Friday morning, several hours before it was on the SI or DE web sites and other national media had it. The press conference was later that afternoon.

k....I couldn't be sure. I remember opening up my laptop while eating breakfast with Ron ....clicking on SalukiTalk and I think there was a big banner that said HE'S GONE. haha
I believe the info on here... But when I heard Barry talking about the red shirts today like he was going to be coaching them next year my heart sank...
Have no fear.
After reflecting on this... I'm not sure Wilson is 88.
Yes, old ST broke the story.
Breaking the story isn't always so great. The news was broke last March about BH getting fired and he was able to find an ally and save his job.

The last minute BS of certain boosters should not reflect poorly on a well researched story. He was gone until saved at the last moment.
I'm still somewhat curious. Last year's AD, Tommy Bell, was going to get rid of Chester. Certain boosters with deep pockets came to Chester's rescue. I recognize we have a new AD. But what is the big difference that makes us so certain that these same boosters won't come to Chester's rescue this year? It can't all be laid at the feet of this senior laden season's failures. Chester has almost 20 years of failure on his resume. Who's not backing Chester this year that did last?
Just askin'.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
