For what school? I didn't know Heff knew how to report on basketball between April and October.

😆 That school would be SIU---------C
Happy to hear Thik is back. Hope the knee holds up this season.

What can I say--it's been a slow news month!
Looks like Bol wont play with the team in Cuba this year! Hope all is well for him with the surgery.
what the heck is going on????? If he needed surgery why wasn't it done two months or MORE ago--or is this something new?
great quote from the Huckster in that "story"
i will be shocked if Bol sees the floor again.

Never did see any official release that Bol had the season ending knee injury repaired anytime during the season.
Not that I know anything, but if you were SIU, would you have paid for a voluntary surgery for a player in March that would allow him to heal in time to transfer to another school in May?
With Bol enrolled in summer classes at SIU there is less likely a chance that he would transfer. It appears to me that with SIU delaying the procedure on Bol's knee, it allowed Bol to keep his transfer options open through his academic Senior year without a surgery cost to SIU. Also, the question mark on Bol's knee injury may have kept other programs from recruiting him away from SIU. Just my humble opinion.

The questions I would normally be asking aside, I hate this for Thik. He’s a good dude. I hate it when good things happen to bad people.
Too much conspiracy for me--maybe (just guessing) it's a relatively recent thing---would a scope, to get any cartilage still floating around in the knee take 8 weeks to heal enough to practice?
