Thanks SW!@quatroschallengesaluki Don't you get the ball at half court after the timeout?
No, that’s the NBA. Would have been side-out.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
@bleedfknmaroon25 Yea, Lance sucked. But I wonder if he was hurt? His last shot was an air ball.
I don't have a problem with not taking a timeout there, by the time you called it you would have maybe 3 seconds left to go the full length of the court, you wouldn't have ended up with anything better than the shot they got.
I am highly disappointed in whatever you call what Jones did today. He was so piss poor Mullins benched him. It takes a lot of piss poor play for a coach to bench one of his stars in the biggest game in 15 years. Pretty sure he is in the shithouse right now.
I agree that Jones should have been benched, but any play out of a time out would have been higher percentage than whatever that was at the end of the game.
Thought they should have called a timeout when Domask was stuck under the basket. But for sure at least one timeout after the FT miss, hell maybe two.
Domask got the ball to X who missed an open bunny. The two shots they missed the possession before the last are about as good as you could hope for and I think 80% of the time we would make at least one of them.
Tough game for our second best player to have a stinker. He’s also a pretty good defender but we played solid on that end without him. We just didn’t have anyone on our team outside Domask who could knock down open looks. Don’t win that way very often. Sucks for Domask and I’m sure nobody feels as bad as the kids in that locker room that they didn’t do more.
Hopefully they still get a crowd for UNI, those seniors deserve a good crowd if it happens to be their last in the Arena.

If he’s hurt it’s on Lance to admit it and ask to be pulled out.
The most perplexing thing about Lance's slide is that two seasons ago he shot nearly 43 percent from the arc, and today it looked like he'd never made a 3 in his life - he's down to 27 percent for the season, after already falling to 34 percent last year. How does someone see their shot go this bad in two seasons?
We need an athlete like Leons from Bradley. They said he has a 7-3 wingspan and he knows how to use it.
Surprised, but not, that the critical end of game missed FT's are not being discussed. If Rupert makes those, SIU very likely wins this game. Those were surely NOT the only reason we lost, but they were critical in my opinion.
Too many free throws and bunnies missed for this game. This game set basketball back to the 1920s. There is no way anyone outside of SIU or Bradley watched this game. Just plain ugly. I’m embarrassed I watched it.

Kennard Davis is going to be a great Valley player I think but they’re going to need shooters if they’re going to take so many 3’s every game. I know Wonders hasn’t been good but it’s crazy he can’t get some minutes.
Drake up 19 at half.

This game just shows how much Elgin’s inaction hurt the Valley. I expect Belmont and Murray to really be near the top each year now. They could have been added much earlier and we’d be in a better position.
@garywilsonfan Agree. Like I've been saying, we need guys with length that can switch multiple positions. The game has changed from 15 yrs ago. Instead we usually have 3 6'1 guards on the floor that can't shoot.
I don't have a problem with Jones being pulled having an off game happens but his attitude on the bench and not being engaged on the bench makes it look bad he wasn't a very good teammate in the 2nd half and that has to improve for this team to have any chance in STL
