Good Jones can win you games… so far we have bad Jones.
The TO's continue to happen because the main culprit (Domask) has made too many lazy unnecessary passes and the other 2 (Jones and Johnson) try WAY too many wild "creative" unnecessary passes. And none of the above have seemingly learned from their mistakes.
Banks has been shooting the ball considerably better in the last few games. It would be nice if that continued.
Sloppy start so far on both sides. Rupert has looked good so far though
I'm ready for another change in the starting lineup with Brown out and Newton or Wonders in. Just don't think Brown is providing enough on either side to justify starting or getting minutes. If he's not going to do anything against Lincoln or Chicago State, he's gonna kill you against the Drakes or Bradleys.
Unfortunately I jinxed Wonders.
If tonight is one of those nights that the team (outside of Jones) cannot hit an open 3, then Chicago St might just hang around all game.

For a 5th or6th year senior, Newton isn't very consistent on the offensive end. Had a couple good games and then looks like the old guy tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing Wonders. I focus on his D a lot bc it needed improvement, and I was critical of that. I have definitely noticed an improvement and comfort level/confidence on the defensive side. If that continues, he may be getting a lot more minutes.
Cade still looks uncomfortable to me on D and not as intimidating (YET) as a true 7' should be.

Jones also has 9 after those 3 FT's. SIU needs to come out and BLOW this team away in the 2nd half, both for a confidence builder but also to get Wonders, Cade, etc more PT
