In other Southern Illinois news. You guys are coming up on a blackout from the sun. Have to add a little bit of levity to this coaching process.
In other news, of course Dylan Carlson has a sprained shoulder and will start the season on the IL. Victor Scott II has been called up from Memphis.
So since there was the possible revelation of C-Lo getting interviewed. I was told Dana Ford got an interview. Now this didn’t come from someone on the university’s side but from someone on Dana’s side. I didn’t want to believe it but if C-Lo is possibly getting vetted anything is possible.
God no

I think Ford was at ISUred when AD leonard was there. Maybe?
I'd take Ford as an assistant. He can recruit a lot of talent. Now coaching the talent on the other hand...

I am glad Fox Midwest lost the rights to the Cardinals games. They are unwatchable.
Dang! The rumor mill reaches a higher level of insanity hourly!

Ballys sports Midwest still carries them.
Hence, I do not subscribe.

I’m sad about no Spradlin but I think he was gonna be out the door possibly in a year anyways. Doesn’t seem like a guy that’s gonna be in the mid-major ranks for long.
The only way Lowery got an interview was if it was a courtesy interview on Leonard’s part. Obviously, there’s no way he’s a serious candidate.
It wouldn't work here based on the baggage of how it ended for Lowery, but by all accounts he has done a very good job as an assistant at Northwestern, and it wouldn't shock me at all to see him get another chance somewhere. I'm guessing he'd love for that to be sooner than later, as he's not getting any younger, and who knows how long NU will sustain success in the Big Ten.
Pretty sure Lowery was Big 10 assistant of the year last year.
