@salukiworld My guess is picking up someone to come back and interview. The Madison trip Monday happened twice, so I am sure that is what that was too. If anyone really wants the scoop, head out to the airport around 10, and see who gets off the plane.
Location, location, Location..., and timing. On the return leg back to Dayton if they fly into local feeder/bizjet airport (Wright Bros Intl) instead of Cox Intl I will swing in the afternoon to see who gets off the SIU "bizjet". I'm going to be up there in close-by Centerville fixing my Aunt's kitchen faucet this afternoon.
Go Dawgs!
I was in the boat of , not being happy with the results Bryan was getting, but also that he could have used a couple more years, maybe with stipulations of changes to staff and who knows maybe he got that opportunity. However in todays day and age if you aren't winning at a high clip and you constantly have new people coming in above you, reality is you are going to be on the chopping block.
This whole coaching search has been a flop in my opinion and it looks like we are getting someone who may have not been in our top 5 even. However that doesn't matter. You can get your guy and Suck, or you can get number 5 on your list and be massively successful.
However , the call to action is this, we as a fan base let Bryan down.
You hear about the dawgpound being one of the best student sections in the country, and you hear that we have a good fanbase. It is time to put up or shut up. Facilites and NIL have to improve. If you give now , can you give more. If you don't give now, what can you give, no amount is insignificant. Lets do this and give this coach a chance to succeed.
@saluki-4-life this years team would have been swept both years by wright state
yea that Purdue Ft Wayne team they beat them was a powerhouse 🥺
You have got to be effing kidding me
Now here are some questions to be answered by the administration?
1 Is this a safe hire(57) years old. Will not be looking at moving on up?
2 Where the other candidates that were interviewed not going to provide stability because if successful moving on in 3-4 years?
3 What makes this hire better than the other individuals interviewed?
4 How did he get to the top of your hire list as opposed to the other candidates?5 Are we thought of as being the destination job outside our home area now as we were once before
How many times are you going to post that image?
as many times to get across what others think about us. Don’t read it if you don’t like it It’s a snapshot of what is going on in the MVC
It should be noted that Ricardo Greer has a son that’s a 4 star recruit and being recruited by power 5 programs
My 3 cousins graduated from Alter HS back in the '90s; back then it was a band school, I don't think it was noted for any one sport or sports in general.

SIU lost at home to the 4th place team in the OVC this season.
This is an independent report that shows what people think of us and the rest of the teams MVC
Who gives a crap! This stuff is just bunk. Complete friggin joke. InSU has some of the worst numbers on here yet they are in the Final 4 of the NIT and have a really good team.
Worst facilities? Hulman Center just underwent a major renovation. Man that place was rocking with a 8000+ fans last night - on national TV.
@mr_woogers Do t shoot the messenger. Just posting what the company did to report on the MVC. Believe what you want. It’s out there. Either way you can do whatever you want with it.

If SIU indeed is considering someone from the Dayton staff -- especially Ricardo Greer -- I'd think twice before criticizing the possible hire. I used to to do some consulting work for a media company in Dayton and thus know a lot about the basketball program, which is a very classy operation. The arena seats more than 13,000 and is packed for every home game. The program is a consistent winner and very well could have reached the Final Four in 2020 if not for the pandemic. Much of the staff has been together since Anthony Grant took over; Grant was only OK at Alabama and did get fired, but he has done a fine job at Dayton. He was criticized for a boring offense at Alabama but since has switched to an up-tempo, crowd-pleasing style. Not saying we couldn't do better than someone from that staff, but we could do far, far worse.
Well said AJCSaluki.
UD has been a consistently competitive and sometimes very competitive basketball program for a very long time. Their fans are loyal & rabid; smart too. And not only were there a team that could have been in the 2020 Final Four but they could have won it all too. I would be very happy if Greer is the guy we're after and even more happy if he son follows him to the land of Little Egypt too. I would hope he brings the up-tempo play with him.

Not much better. 26th ranked conference vs OVC 28th ranked KenPom conference. We lost to a 7th place OVC team with Domask/Jones on the team last year though.
Major movement according to bob lol
docolax or exlax will help do that. I want answers, we are down to like 2 players on the team...
