No problem. We're deep in the front court. 🤣
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
"Hope everything's Okay."
Thought I'd get that in there before someone else did.
March on triumphantly!
Mullins & Co. kinda missed the boat on getting some depth in the low post. I know they had the kid from Clemson as well, but I don't like the approach of recruiting all guards and wings and one or two low post players. That can make or break a season. The kid from Northwestern is going to get A LOT of minutes this season. Hopefully he's up to the task and can stay healthy.

Yeah, obviously no other school needs tall, strong, smart players. We just didn't try hard enough. ☹️

Time will tell. I think this is more of an anomaly considering William quit and how much emphasis they've put on recruiting bigs for 20' and 21'. Bryan and staff had an extremely tall order this spring. All things considered, they've done really well.

I'm not a doctor nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but stress fractures tend to be recurring issues don't they? Regardless, hopefully he's ready to roll for the start of the season, because he will definitely see minutes down low.

I agree with this. It was an extremely tall order to re-work this roster. But the focus that I've seen so far for '20 continues to be on guards and wings. There's a "big kid" smattered in here and there. I know the big kids with skills is probably a tougher nutt to crack.....but without 'em, you put yourself in a tough position.

They can heal if given the chance and the issue that caused them is stopped. It seems like BMs injury was mishandled those last two years.
A quote from my doctor, "so if your rotator cuffs get ripped up doing decline bench presses, then you should probably stop doing those don't you think?" Substitute a few words to make this applicable to stress fractures.

Stress fractures have many causes, basketball they are from playing hard and not eating a balanced diet as a kid.
Calcium, magnesium, and potassium are all key to bones being strong and healing.
Proper diet and strength training can reduce frequency, but have to stay with it.
I don't keep track of things all that well but what ever happened to Saluki Bob. I don't know if he would have anything to add to prior post but he used to weigh in on such matters. Athletic Trainer if memory serves.
