Jones has got to start driving to the basket.  The shot just isn't falling.

Agree, but then again, you won't get a better game to work on that shot than this one.

he has “worked on it” for 4 years…

Yeah, and i think he led the valley in 3pt shooting one of those years. So obviously he is capable. Only way to get out of a slump is to keep shooting. If this team is going to win arch madness and go to the ncaa they are going to have to fix their shooting, and the only way to do that is shoot.

What a shitty end to the half.  Hasn't been great on either side of the ball.  Hopefully the 2nd half Salukis show up.

Yep, just as in life, when things aren’t working, keep doing the exact same thing…

Garbage ass effort over the last 6 minutes of the half. Guys are completely coasting and they’re paying the price for it. Garbage.
Lance needs to stop chucking when it’s obvious he doesn’t have his shot.

Wake up.

So, let me get this straight, you think the way to get better at shooting is to quit shooting? I bet you have won a ton of coaching awards 🤣

Jones and Domask both, Wonders and Brown as well, we don't win shit this year as far as going to postseason if these guys can't hit threes. The only way to build confidence and improve your shooting is to keep shooting. Thats how it works. You don't get better by not doing what you are struggling with. We need these guys to start hitting, and you don't do that by not shooting.

Marcus is 2 for his last 19 3 pters going back to Drake. 10.5%

Lance is 8 for 38. 21%

Ouch.

I really think Jones shoots too many threes. He drives it, but I'd like to see some midrange shots, which are almost extinct in today's 3pt. lala land of college basketball.

Anybody notice that we were rolling until Brown was inserted then offense sputtered?

I'm not trying to pile on the poor kid here, but he does seem to be snakebitten this season.

We were rolling until we got up 20 and let up on the defensive end. Thats where we let up. Evansville scored as many in the last 7 minutes as they did in the first 13. Not saying that it wasn't Brown tho, cuz i do think his man hit at least one three and also burned him for a two.

I don't think that had anything to with Brown. We just let up on D, which is natural when you're blowing out a high school team.

Disappointed we aren't up by 20 - doubt we'll see those guys we need to see- AJ, Cade...
