Does it bother anybody else that UE has out rebounded us by 8 at this point? And we only have our usual 2 offensive rebounds.
Offensive rebounds have not been great this year for the Salukis.
Why are we not getting the ball in the post to our best player ?

This is going to be a problem for us all season long.

That's it. Bummer.

What a kick in the GD pants this one is.

Very much so. UE has no interior game. This is unacceptable.
Mullins got schooled today.
This hurts. You can use the excuse of the first back-to-back, but it’s a massive wake-up call.

With 6 road games against Drake, Bradley, and Loyola this year, this is going to be a really bad loss.
I understand any team can win in the MVC, and Evansville has a very good coach, but this is a bad loss. Loyola, Drake, Bradley, MSU are all head and shoulders better. Bummed.
Why are we not getting the ball in the post to our best player ?
Because we are too busy posting Lance Jones at the 5. Atrocious.

Didn’t they play North Dakota in back-to-back games?
Our defense was very bad today. Anybody have a copy of this DVD for the team to watch before our next game? https://www.championshipproductions.com/cgi-bin/champ/p/Basketball/Chris-Lowery-Blending-Defensive-Transition-with-Half-Court-Defense_BD-02955.html
They are 10/15 from 3 this half.
SIU isn't playing great defense but there's not much they can actually do at this point. Just have to laugh and realize it's not your night.
I agree: some of the E-ville 3s have just been lights-out shooting, not poor defense.
They've definitely made some rushed and stepback quick 3s. Also have shot like 90% from FT line...not their normal 68%. Their day!
I will say, I don't think SIU even played that bad. I didn't think they played great but when your opponent hits 17-29 3's, you're not gonna win many games.

Yes, and both of those games were shaky.
