Bryan Mullins was on ESPN Radio 103.5 earlier today. Good interview:

Looking like Brown and Coupet will be out tomorrow. Would have liked to see Coupet but more minutes for the Freshmen is exciting. I'm guessing we see Foster Wonders in the starting lineup.
Foster Wonders will not be in the starting lineup Tuesday. You probably need to temper your expectations regarding him a little, at least for now.
I'm not sure what my expectations are for him right now, just seemed like the likely scenario with Brown and Coupet both out. If not Wonders, then Dalton Banks makes sense but I figured they'd want him to run more of the point.
Most likely starting lineup for tomorrow is Jones, Verplancken, Domask, D'Avanzo and Filewich. The other 6 available scholarship players will also get plenty of PT. Don't read that much into it as the starting lineup will probably change once Brown and Coupet are available.
I predicted the starting lineup will also change once Muila forces his way in. : )
Your fascination with Muila is bordering on creepy.
You've never even seen him play.
And your reasoning makes little sense. You love to throw out the fact that he was the "#24 JUCO recruit". Cool. Valdir Manuel was ranked 15 spots higher, was much better at the JUCO level, and was still only got sporadic minutes for a very very bad New Mexico team. It means nothing.
This isn't even a hatred on Muila or anything. He might force his way into the lineup. But just by the video of him I have seen and what has been said about him he could also very well be the post version of Tyrone Greene.
@spike A post version of Tyrone Greene could be just what this team needs. Tyrone was offensively challenged but he was a hard nosed defensive stopper and ran the court with boundless energy and effort. He accepted his role and was an important cog on a great Saluki team. His defense might have been the difference at the huge bracket buster victory against Butler at Hinkle.
@annabob well said I was thinking the same thing one thing about a team it takes everyone to contribute no matter how big or small that contribution is to make a winner's
If you think my excitement about JD is nearing creepy, I'm surprised you didn't call for a restraining order last year over my excitement about Ben Harvey. And guess what............I was wrong. I never took into account Harvey's defense. You're right, I've never seen JD play in person. By that argument, I guess since I've never seen Jessica Alba in person, she isn't HOT?? (speaking of restraining order). : )
I've watched as much video on JD as I could find. AND YES, mostly highlight videos where they can make even you and I look decent. That being said, I saw what I saw and that was an athletic big who could provide this team something it has been missing. Listening to Mullins interview yesterday, he basically said the same thing..... that Muila's quick feet are going to really help this team defensively.
I know you're not hating on the guy. Why my somewhat tongue in cheek excitement over him bothers you is odd, but you're free to your opinions.
Most importantly, GO DAWGS.................I absolutely cannot wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some quick info on Henderson State:
- The Reddies will have a blend of old and new faces this season with a roster that features eight returners and six newcomers. Henderson finished 11-9 last season during the abbreviated COVID year and reached the GAC Tournament semifinals for the third-straight season. In the last three seasons, HSU has the best winning percentage (65.4%) of any school in Arkansas at any level of competition.
- Junior guard Malik Riddle is the top returning scorer (12.6 points per game) and rebounder (5.7 rebounds per game) for HSU, who also brings back veteran guards Quawn Marshall and Xavier Davenport. Marshall and Davenport have combined to play in 92 games for the Reddies and, along with Graham Chenault and Tomislav Miholjcic, are the only remaining holdovers from Henderson's 2020 GAC Championship squad.
- HSU brought in four transfers in the offseason, all of whom will have a chance to make an early impact. Franck Kamgain from UMKC played in every game for the Kangaroos last season and averaged 7.5 points per contest, while Ryan Boyce brings tons of athleticism with him from Georgia State. Fellow newcomers Alvin Miles and Andre Washington both excelled at the JUCO level and averaged 15.5 and 10 points per game, respectively.

I think the reason it bothers me is because you have been very dismissive of other players.
I guess it’s still mandatory masks inside, unless eating/drinking.
Go Dawgs!!

Surely not. It wasn’t that at the meet the players event this summer when I was up there.

The SIU website says masks are required for entry and when not eating or drinking. I've watched other indoor events in Illinois and guessing this won't be enforced much in the stands but if you're going, I'd at least bring a mask for entry into the Arena.
