@quatroschallengesaluki Saluki Athletics video people are not the incompetent idiots you apparently think they are. They can not put the video on Facebook or anything else because it is against MVC rules. You CAN turn a camera on a Facebook Live account if it is a closed group. IE, only family members can watch. This has been done with swimming. ESPN has the rights to all telecasts. If you want their $100K per year and their exposure you either put it on their platform or not at all. Plus, Mullins and the Salukis choose to be one of the programs that don't televise exhibition games so that the opening day opponent doesn't get any current video of their team for scouting.
I suspected something like that might be the case.

Makes sense. Do teams "invest" in sending scouts to watch some of their opponents games these days? I would be surprised if they spent the $$ to send someone to watch an exhibition game, especially one where the team you're scouting is missing 2 (likely) starters.

The NCAA banned live scouting in 2013. You CAN scout other teams in person if you are playing in the same tournament, though.

Geesh, didn't mean to insult anyone. My statement was made in jest, meant to be humorous, hence the "lol" at the end of it. Surely wasn't meant to belittle the Saluki Athletics video people, and i also never called anyone incompetent or an idiot.
Thanks for the info though Mike, i figured there was a reason,

I took the "lol" at the end to mean if the 5th grade could figure it out, SIU should be able to. And no you didn't call anyone incompetent or an idiot, but your comment inferred it. I'm sorry I missed the humor and am glad that wasn't your intention.
While we are on the subject, SIU does an OUTSTANDING job with these videos. They are to be commended.

SIU has a secret scrimmage tomorrow at IPFW (Purdue Fort Wayne). No idea if we'll get some kind of score from the game. There shockingly doesn't seem to be an active Purdue Fort Wayne message board so unless they have a beat writer that tweets it, it'll probably have to leak on our side.

Someone always seems to leak the results. Usually, the winner.
March on triumphantly!

Any word on the exhibition or is it happening tonight?
