For whatever reason the ball stalled in their hands coach decision maybe style of offense maybe lack of trust of teammates
Jones continues to be a contributor for Purdue early in the season. Was a big factor in their win against Gonzaga last night. Purdue fans are thrilled with him.
I’ve said it before, but man, with 4th year Jones and Domask on the roster, it was a crime that Mullins didn’t have last year’s team in the postseason. It’s either an indication that your coaching failed or you didn’t recruit competently enough in the previous years to give those two a supporting staff.

Purdue has talent all over that roster.
I always felt Lance should have been on the MVC All-Freshmen team and All-Conference every year. He's got quickness and athleticism Purdue has been lacking.
@mr_woogers You won’t get an argument from me on that. Both Jones and Domask are now surrounded by more talent than they had at SIU. That is not meant to be disrespectful or a slam on last year’s players, it is just a fact.
There has got to be much less pressure on them also since they are not having to be the leaders and the major offensive weapons they were last year.
@jabman62 Completely agree. Anyone who thinks playing with Zach Edey instead of JD Mullah doesn’t make things easier obviously know nothing about basketball.
I don’t disagree. My point was that Mullins’ recruiting hasn’t been good enough - as evidenced by last year’s results with 2 guys who are now getting big time minutes at top Big Ten programs.

Awesome! Very happy for him getting a chance to play on this stage. He's been through a lot this past year
Domask is having a MONSTER night tonight in the Jimmy V Classic, 33pts so far on 15/20 shooting
Domask is 1 for his last 16 three pt shots! Ouch! He still is playing a ton of minutes because he does everything well. In their blowout of Mizzou last night, in 35 minutes he only had 10 pts but had 7 rbs and 7 assists.
