Nobody dislikes Heff he does his best. Most of the. Time just can’t report anything until it is official. We do not have that restriction . 

Now the Jimmy Beane thing he was just wrong 🤣

nobody wishes there was more saluki coverage than the man known as the bobber.  but everyone should understand that while todd is the beat writer, i'm sure that is not all he does at the southern, especially in an era where newspapers are dying.  

you look at that market, at the paper and at WSIL, and the university is lucky there is still media giving them free coverage.  because the day is coming where they may not be.

that said, for whoever is running that newspaper, they seem to think their sports readers are as interested in minor league baseball, girls golf, and spotted sparrows as they are the salukis.  they are wrong, and that's not todd's fault.

Yeah the e-edition is a small price to pay to support local journalism.  The southern is really all we have for constant Saluki coverage.  For those that don’t like Todd, he’s a really great guy in the couple of interactions I’ve had with him. He certainly works very hard.

All politics is local...so is a lot of the news that people want to read. Plus they like to see their names and the names of their kids in the paper.
