Best I've seen Suggs. Before this game, I counted him as a bricklaying liability.

We're going to screw around and let them back in this game.

McGill is hurting out there, not sure they can keep him out there

SIU 63

ISUr 49

2:17 left

Benson with a nice run of baskets and Lance Jones with a big rebound and assist to Francois.  I see Domask holding his shoulder on the bench though, hope he's okay.

First game back from the flu - played almost the whole game - hope he doesn't relapse!

Jones has had many opportunities wide open and still can't drop a shot, but he is still providing value on the floor.

5 rebounds and 5 assists, but yeah he really needs to develop as an outside shooter

SIU looked much better in the 2nd half.  A VERY nice win.

I saw him in the state tourney and he shot way better than he has here, but his game has mainly been driving the ball.

Lot of good stuff in the final stats.  Also credit to the crowd for showing up, sounded good on TV.

It wasn't always pretty but it sure feels good to get that 1st Valley win.

I thought we rebounded better today.

36 rbs to their 27 - that made a huge difference - they didn't get many 2nd chances

Nice win! Too many turnovers, but lots of positives from this one.

Nice first Valley win Salukis! Congrats!

Still need to take care of the pumpkin, far too many TO's. Hopefully, when AC returns, that will help. Nice to see the young guys get the PT though. Would be nice to see Francois shoot more also.

March on triumphantly!
