This team is gonna struggle to score. Domask looks good for a Freshman though
25-16 Dawgs at the under-8 (6:00). Sadly, we've only scored 2 in the last 5.5 minutes.

I'm fairly certain that that single stats feed goes out to everyone. If it's broken, no one's getting any data.

1. Gooch is still not a good player
2. Trent Brown should really consider red shirting
Jones is going to be good !!! If he buys into team play and defense, he can be an all MVC type player in his time here.

I FULLY REALIZE (so no need to remind me) that the team has not even played a full half yet, but 2 of my preseason thoughts are proving true so far:
1. Gooch is still not a good player
2. Trent Brown should really consider red shirting
I know you said you realize it has only been one half, but I’m guessing they see more from Brown in practice than his 0-3 from the arc in that half.
Gooch on the other hand has proved in more than just that half that he is not a good player.
I'm watching the game and not worried about him missing 3's. The announcers said he didn't miss in warm ups, and they may have meant literally. My preseason concerns, well prior to this game, were that he may need more strength, quickness and defensive seasoning prior to playing. So far, I'm seeing exactly that. Here's hoping that, if he does play all season, that he can develop quickly this season so we don't lose out on what I DO expect to be one heck of a shooter when it's all said and done.
Getting out rebounded 12-5 on the offensive end. That's not good.
First game. - team looks really rough, other than McGill and Cook. McGill is going to have a really good year.

I fully expect Jones and Domask to be all-conference eventually. Domask really looks to score and he can do it. Jones can really turn on the jets, pass, and drive. With his quickness, I think he'll be a defensive beast too.
Haven't seen enough of Brown or Francois to form an opinion.
I think a lot of the bad shooting is first game jitters, etc. Jeremic needs a lot of work. So does Benson, but he appears to have some long range shooting chops!
Sorry Mike - Jeremic doesn't much look like Matt Shaw!! 😀
