I’m OK with it. You could make the case either way, especially given Southern’s struggles the past few weeks. It’s not like UNI was picked to win the league ... they exceeded expectations and have had a great year.
Hopefully Mullins wins the award (more than once) in the coming years.
I think it is pretty accurate. After UNI's two in row losses they came back strong. I like how close it was, could have gone either way, and I think Mullins will win his share.. It's been a far better season than I think anyone expected, but with Mullins not totally surprising. Happy Days are here again!
Nope. Jacobsen had all his starters back from last year (when they under performed big time - how about a 32 point loss to S. Dakota St. on a neutral court - even Phyfe played until December last year.)

They were picked third and won the league and were excellent in the non-conference, which to me should factor in as well. Most did not expect them to be this good.
Disappointing but not outrageous. UNI was the represented the Valley well in the non-conference. Mullins will win this award next year, BOOK IT !!!
