JC was among 3 Nevada Wolfpack players declaring for the NBA draft yesterday.

Rumor is that if he withdraws (which is likely), he may transfer to Illinois for his final season of eligibility.

As long as he doesn't hire an agent, he can return to college.

I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!

He goes to Illinois if he withdraws and the twins/coach don’t come back.

Caleb Martin is projected first round. I am not so sure he will be back

Not a chance that’s true at this stage.

What if the scouts tell Caroline they want to see him play against better competition? That’s how Alstork ended up at Illinois.

I can see why Caroline is not on any NBA radar.  He is a tweener and will/would have a really tough time acclimating to the NBA.  He still gets his shot at/under the basket stuffed on a regular basis and while he is a good position rebounder the size and speed at the NBA level will, I think, negate that.  He isn't a guard which his size is fit for and not a real 3 or 4 in NBA world.  Hard worked, just don't think he will fit very well.

Would love to see him fill a 3/small lineup 4 at Illinois next year.

I don't think so.  Heck, Eric Musselman was mentioned as candidate to replace Chris Mack At XU after he bolted for Louisville; he's going to get looks from other ADs too.  And the Martins - or at lest one of them - is projected to be a 1st round NBA pick.

Go Dawgs!

Doesn't matter if Caroline finishes his time at Nevada or uofi, he doesn't have the skill set to stick in the NBA at his size.  Pick the overseas league of your choice and he'll be there.

Yep. I can't see Caroline in the NBA at all. Good college player.

Caroline is the one transfer I hated to see leave here.

That’s telling. A lot of people would agree with that statement. The big issue is that recruiting hasn’t been up to standards in the first place.
