Not much on this one. Lincoln (MO) is 5-2 this year with a win at D1 UMKC. They're coming off a 4-23 season last year.
Their leader in scoring is 6'2 Senior Artese Stapleton from Kenwood High School in Chicago averaging 20.3 points per game. He's a transfer from D1 Radford where he started 10 games last year. Actually a pretty good player, was 112th in the country last year in steal % (3.4%). Stapleton scored 16 in their win over UMKC and added 5 rebounds.
Their leader in rebounding is 6'9 Senior Kevin Kone averaging 14.4 rebounds per game. Kone is from Paris, France and had 19 points, 15 rebounds in their win over UMKC. Kone is also averaging 15.1 points per game.

Well I won't be watching this one. It is embarrassing that this game is even on the schedule.
For years we heard Valley coaches make the excuse that they have to schedule non-D1 schools because they had too many games to schedule and had to fill out the schedule. Well, even with 2 fewer games to schedule, the non-D1 games remained.
It is an insult to any fan of a D1 team to have a regular season game against a non-D1 team.
Please stop doing it.

I'll say it right here, if SIU doesn't win this game by 10pts, the remainder of the season will be a very painful one. The only way I see this as being a close game is bc of Kone and bc, hopefully, the bench gets a ton of time and our bench is not nearly as strong as we thought going into the season.

You should be in Vegas bc that seems like the perfect number to draw people in. This isn't your typical "gimmie" game as you noted and I can see Kone just eating up Cade so I'll take the under. But at the same time, I would NOT be surprised either way. In other words, I wouldn't bet this one.

Not game related but it still kind of irks me that the Banterra wordmark is green on the court.
Lincoln will go as far as Kone takes them. Not sure if I missed something but why did they take him out of the game? Perhaps it was his defensive chasing the ball, leaving his man for 2 layups, but man that man is a beast.
