@dawgbytes this is no gimme. If we start the game thinking that, we are in trouble.
I'll say it right here, if SIU doesn't win this game by 10pts, the remainder of the season will be a very painful one. The only way I see this as being a close game is bc of Kone and bc, hopefully, the bench gets a ton of time and our bench is not nearly as strong as we thought going into the season.
I will be disappointed if we don't beat this team by 20.

He did nothing to me. He seems to be a very nice kid.
But he is objectively not a "very good defensive player". He is slow, not particularly athletic, and his positioning is not good. He doesnt block or alter shots nor disrupt interior passing. He is also a poor rebounder and one of the worst offensive players in D1.
Muila is fine if your other front court players are not available or if your team has a big lead with a minute or so to go.
He should never be playing minutes that matter.

He's an average defender and rebounder, but in terms of interesting FT form, he's #1 in the MVC. Much rather see Hornecker and Rupert. Rupert got beat a couple of times by Kone, but he also stole the ball from Kone a couple of times and scored a couple of bunnies on nice passes from Jones.
