I think it should be noted that Benson came back in with more than 6 minutes left in the game and 4 fouls and has done a tremendous job of playing smart. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he has been MUCH better than I anticipated.
He's been great - be tough to replace next year!
I have very little doubt that the coaching staff will find a suitable, if not better, replacement. I say that with ALL due respect to Benson. Look at what this staff with limited time. And I imagine that recruits are seeing what is going on here and it will make their decision a lot easier !!!
Sure hope so. I just think it's tough to come up with good big men - they're rare compared to good guards! I'd settle for a super athletic 6' 7" guy (like Randall Falker.)
