Marcus had a tremendous freshman year and is polished well beyond his years. He's the biggest reason SIU was able to drastically outperform expectations this year.
I'm really looking forward to Southern putting some more pieces and depth around him starting next year so that defenses can't focus as extensively on him and they can keep him a little fresher from a minutes standpoint.

Was surprised Lance was not selected to the all freshmen team. He deserved it.
A few more games and he would have been. I can't really quibble about the choices though: the Valley is deep with young talent, which bodes well for the future.
